The Health Museum - The John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science, also known as The Health Museum, is Houston's most interactive science learning center and a member institution of the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. Health Museum Seasonal Exhibits and Events

• Survivng: The Body of Evidence (Oct. 3, 2009 to Jan. 3, 2010)

  • This exhibit is about you and all your fellow humans. Your body carries evidence of many distinctively human features that changed in your ancestors through the process of evolution.
• Seige of Skeletons (Oct. 6, 2009 to Nov. 1, 2010)

  • It’s all about bones! See the sensational papier-mâché skeleton submissions from teams all over the Greater Houston area only at The Health Museum and on display October 6 through November 1. These human skeleton creations are part of the first annual Siege of the Skeletons event.
