The Houston Texans began their inaugural season at Reliant Stadium in 2002. The open air stadium with the retractable roof is also the home of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Reliant Stadium hosted the: 2004 Super Bowl, 2002 and 2005 NCAA Big 12 Football Championship, 2008 NCAA Basketball Regionals, Wrestlemania 25 in April 2009, 2010 NCAA Basketball Regionals, and the 2011 NCAA Final Four.
Reliant Stadium will also host: The annual college football Texas Bowl (from 2010 to 2013, the Texas Bowl will feature teams from the Big 12 and Big Ten Conferences), and the 2016 NCAA Final Four
