Anna Russell, longtime City of Houston secretary and public servant, passed Monday, February 3, 2020 after a 68-year career with the City. Mayor Sylvester Turner would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend a Celebration of Life ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Sarofim Hall, 800 Bagby Street.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the renovation of Hermann Square at City Hall. Donations may be made payable to Houston Civic Events, Inc for Hermann Square Renovations. Check and money orders should be sent to Houston Civic Events, City Hall, 901 Bagby St., First Floor, Houston, TX 77002.
