Division Responsibilities

 
  • Manage the Department's Open Records Requests

  • Manage Citywide Records Storage and Retrieval Contract

  • Provide Electronic Imaging Services to all City Departments

  • Manage Records Retention Program and Destruction of City Records in Accordance with State Laws

  • Manage Response to Public Information Requests for Administration & Regulatory Affairs Department and Finance Department

  • Provide Computer Services & Communications for Administration & Regulatory Affairs Department and Finance Department

  • Manage Mail Services for City Hall, City Hall Annex and 611 Walker

  • Research Methods to Digitize All City of Houston Records and Make Available a City of Houston Search Engine for Retrieval of City Records.
