BARC Volunteer Super Stars!

BARC is honored (and fortunate) to have a truly super team of individual and group volunteers that work with us on a day-to-day basis. They are all about happy tails. …Which is why we call them our Super Stars!

They are tireless. They are generous with their time. On all levels -- from meeting with adopters, finding and providing good homes, cleaning the shelter, feeding the animals, walking the dogs and petting the cats, no task is too big or too small. In short, they do whatever needs to be done – because they care. BARC really couldn’t do our job without them and we know it. But we want everyone in the community to know it.

So, BARC would like to pay special attention and give many happy tail wags to our supporters at Friends of BARC and to our foster and shelter volunteers. We want to let everyone in on just how much we -- those of us with two legs and those with four -- value and benefit from all those who donate their time and services to BARC.

We also want to hear from the community. If you have a suggestion or would like to nominate an individual or group to be highlighted, email Ian Todd, the Volunteer Coordinator at ian.todd@houstontx.gov. Your thoughts and recommendations won’t go unnoticed.
