The George Bush Monument is a popular new attraction in Houston, located in the northwest corner of downtown at Bagby and Franklin in Sesquicentennial Park.
Tandem bald eagles, the symbol of American freedom, stand guard at the entry to the Bush monument. The exhibit is free to the public and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Bush monument stands on a bluff overlooking Buffalo Bayou, the main artery for transportation in Houston when the city was founded in 1836. The entire area is well-lighted and features meticulous landscaping.
Visitors to the Bush monument, which is located across from Wortham Theater Center, will enjoy a striking view of Houston's remarkable skyline.

Impressive in its likeness of the 41st American president,
the statue is physically formidable, too, standing
