Welcome to the E. B. Cape Center, the City of Houston’s Corporate University. Through a strategic partnership between the Public Works & Engineering and Human Resources departments, the Cape Center has become a Corporate University that designs and provides learning programs aimed at helping employees enhance their skills and job competencies for improved performance and job satisfaction.

The E. B. Cape Center provides training opportunities at our facility on a space-available basis for other organizations. In obtaining this approval, the E.B. Cape Center has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is recognized internationally as a standard of good practice. The Cape Center has re-invented itself by creating “Schools of” courses that are specific to those schools. For example, the School of Computer Technology has all our Microsoft computer courses.
