Difficulty obtaining accessible and affordable housing and adequate employment dramatically impact quality of life for people with disabilities.
This Saturday, September 22, 2007, the City of Houston Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities and a host of other City of Houston and community partners are sponsoring the first annual Housing, Employment, and Resources Expo (H.E.R.E.) for People with Disabilities. The Expo will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Hall A.
This unique event will provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to meet with prospective employers, as well as representatives from various housing related entities and other resource agencies.
