January 25, 2008 Go Green for Houston Town Hall Meeting Council Members Adrian Garcia and Wanda Adams in partnership with the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Jefferson Davis High School 1101 Quitmman Street from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Panelists, who include the Mayor's Office of Health and Environmental Policy and Programming, will discuss "real world" options that can help Houstonians become more Green friendly. Come be a part of innovative and simple ways you can help the environment. Samples, products and a chance to win an eco-friendly washer and dryer will be available. Refreshments will be served.
