Green Houston Needs Your Brainpower

The City of Houston is making great strides on an array of environmental programs and, because you have expressed an interest in these topics, we want your help and brainpower giving those efforts a better identity. See http://www.houstontx.gov/environment/programs.html to learn more about the programs and then give us your suggestions.

Some other cities have a head start on us in naming. For example, New York is calling itself The Green Apple and Dallas simply refers to Green Dallas.

We want your original suggestions and your opinions about the list of candidates below and which you like best .

My Green Houston, Green Houston, Go Green Houston, Houston Got Green, City Green Where's the Green, Green Spot Houston, Ever Green Houston, Green Wise Houston, Urban Green

Please e-mail your comments to jedediah.greenfield@cityofhouston.net

Also, be sure to check out the new issue of the Environmental Standard , the City's environmental e-Newsletter, http://www.houstontx.gov/environment/pdf/environews-2008jan.pdf
