BARC's A Home for the Holidays Mega Pet Adoption Event
Saturday, December 14, 2013
Half Off Regular Adoption Fees at Petco, 4431 FM 1960 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions is holding A Home for the Holidays mega pet adoption event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Petco, located at 4431 FM 1960, Houston 77068.

More than 75 puppies, dogs, cats and kittens in all shapes and sizes will be available for adoption. The event will feature half-off regular adoption fees: $25 for dogs, $37.50 for puppies, $10 for cats and $17.50 for kittens. All pets will go home with a goodie bag.

Special thanks to Proler Southwest/Sims Metal Management for sponsoring the event.

For every adoption, Proler Southwest/Sims Metal Management will match the adoption fee at full price and donate it to a brand new spay and neuter initiative led by BARC and some of Houston's top pet advocates who are partnering to reduce pet overpopulation in targeted areas of Houston, one neighborhood at a time.

BARC will accept payment by cash, check, Mastercard or Visa at A Home for the Holidays. BARC adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, a one-year city pet license, a pre-registered microchip with lifetime registration, and age-appropriate vaccinations.  View details about BARC's adoption process and requirements at "About Adopting at BARC".

For those unable to make it to this Saturday's event at Petco, BARC's adoption center, located at 3200 Carr Street, Houston 77026 will be open for adoptions from noon to 6 p.m. Half-off regular adoption fees also applies at BARC's adoption center on Saturday, December 14.

Visit BARC's website to see the many pets available for adoption at BARC.  Houstonians who are unable to permanently adopt a pet but would like to help animals in need should consider becoming a volunteer or foster pet parent.
