You have indicated an interest in the weekly Houston City Council Agenda. The agenda is published on Friday afternoon and details the actions that Council will consider at its meeting the following week. Council usually meets on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. The Tuesday session is devoted to public comment, and the Wednesday session is for consideration of actions that require Council approval, as well as public hearings, reports from the Mayor on policy issues, and monthly financial reports by the City Controller.

You can access the Council agenda after it is posted at www.houstontx.gov/citysec/agenda.html.

You also can watch Council meetings live on The Municipal Channel. For a better understanding of the meetings, you might want to review Council Rules of Procedure, found in Section 2-2 of the Code of Ordinances, which can be found at www.houstontx.gov/codes/index.html.
