January 31, 2012 Join the Houston Airport System and the Airport Rangers for the 2nd Annual Airport Express Endurance Ride on Saturday, February 4 and Sunday, February 5, 2012. Riders will be competing in a 50-mile or 25-mile marked trail ride throughout the 13,000 acres of George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Novice riders will be enjoying a 10-mile fun ride. The goal is to complete the marked trail within the time given with a horse that is fit to continue. All horses must pass a complete vet check before, during and after the ride. This year's ride will benefit SIRE - Houston's Therapeutic Equestrian Centers. If you do not have access to a horse, but would still like to participate, the public is invited to observe the event from the grounds of the Houston Airport System administrative building located at 16930 JFK Boulevard, Houston 77032.
