August 14, 2012 Mega BARC Adoption Event Saturday, August 18 On Saturday, August 18, 2012, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions is holding its first mega offsite adoption event of the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge. The event will take place at the Tractor Supply Company 27400 Tomball Parkway,Tomball 77375 as part of the Tractor Supply Company's National Pet Appreciation Week. Dog/puppy adoptions will be $20 and cat/kitten adoptions will be $10. The Tractor Supply Company will also have special pricing on pet supplies, giveaways and more. As the national ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge approaches the middle of its first month, BARC is working tirelessly to meet its goal of 2,100 dog and cat adoptions before October 31, 2012 to win the competition. Since the ASPCA $100K Challenge kick-off on August 1, 2012, BARC has reached 340 dog and cat adoptions. BARC needs your help to continue saving lives and increasing adoptions to win the $100,000 grand prize grant! He is about 4 months old and loves playing with other cats, dogs and people. Jasper's Animal ID is A1088955. Louise (right), a white and orange Pointer mix puppy, was taken into BARC as a stray. She is a shy little girl who is about 13 weeks old and has lots of love to give, likes being held and gets along with other cats and dogs. Louise's Animal ID is A1089765.
