Notification of Capital Improvement Plan
Construction Project at the Royalton Lift Station

In order to keep pace with the growing needs of the community, the City of Houston through the Department of Public Works and Engineering will be improving the storm sewers in the area described below. The contractor for this project is Excalibur Excavation, L.P. Corp. and work will start on September 23, 2009, and is scheduled to end on September 22, 2010. There may be some minor traffic impact to the area during the project.You may not see any activity by the contractor for several weeks after the construction time has begun. This is due to the contractor getting prepared to perform work which includes procurement of materials and equipment, setting up staging areas or working in other areas in the project

Project Description: Royalton Lift Station Renewal: The project consists of removal of existing mechanical, electrical piping equipment, structure, pavements, landscaping, and fence. Construction of 2-pump lift station and necessary equipments, SCADA control, removal and installation of new 4-inch force main, new concrete pavement and driveways.  
Construction Cost: $516,409.00
