Citywide Centennial Celebration at Gragg Park

The Houston Parks and Recreation Department's Centennial Celebration concludes the department's year-long anniversary celebration. The day's festivities include a sneak peak at the newly renovated Gragg Park, which is scheduled to open in mid October. Visitors will get a first look at park features including Gonzo247's elephant parade, the new sports fields, trails and playground.

The day's festivities will include food, music, and displays by the Artist Boat, Buffalo Bayou Partnership, the Heritage Society, Hermann Park Conservancy, Houston Audubon, Houston First Tee, Houston Parks Board, Houston Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership, Houston Public Library, Trees for Houston, Memorial Park Conservancy, METRO, Houston Police Department, Houston B-Cycle and more.
