Houston City Council Agenda Information
You have indicated an interest in the weekly Houston City Council Agenda. The agenda is published on Friday afternoon and lists the actions that Council will consider at its meeting the following week. Council usually meets on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. The Tuesday session is devoted to public comment, and the Wednesday session is for consideration of actions that require Council approval, as well as public hearings, reports from the Mayor on policy issues, and presentation of the monthly financial and operations report by the Finance Department Director and City Controller.
If you would like to sign up to speak at a Tuesday public session, please call the City Secretary's office at 832.393.1100 by Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. There is also additional information about the City Council agenda, including meeting minutes and prior agendas, on the City Secretary's website at www.houstontx.gov/citysec/index.html.
You can access the Council agenda after it is posted at www.houstontx.gov/citysec/agenda.html. Please verify the date and time of the meeting since it will occasionally change due to holidays or scheduling issues.
