Mayor's Office of Sustainability Hosts Free Electronics Recycle Drive
Tuesday, October 30 - Thursday, November 8

As part of the larger WhatIF Campaign, whatifcampaign.com, the Mayor's Office of Sustainability has partnered with CompuCycle for a local free E-Cycle drive. The WhatIF Campaign aims to collect 500,000 pounds of e-waste by November 15, 2012, which will be kept out of landfills and used to create jobs for people in Houston living with disabilities.

Visit any one of the several drop office locations listed below between Tuesday, October 30 and Thursday, November 8 for a free and safe way to dispose of your household electronics.

  • October 30 - November 1 at the City of Houston Code Enforcement Building, 1002 Washington, Houston 77002 from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
  • October 31 at the City Hall Farmer's Market, 901 Bagby, Houston 77002 from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.
  • November 6 - 8 at the City of Houston Health Department Headquarters, 8000 North Stadium, Houston 77054. Bins will be located on the 2nd level of the parking garage from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
  • November 6 - 8 at the Environmental Health Administration Building, 7411 Park Place, Houston 77087. Bins will be located inside the main entry.
  • November 6 - 8 at the Acres Homes Multi Service Center, 6719 West Montgomery, Houston 77091. Bins will be located inside the main entry.
  • November 6 - 8 at the Southwest Multi Service Center, 6400 High Star, Houston 77074. Bins will be located inside the main entry.
  • November 6 - 8 at the Sunnyside Multi Service Center, 9314 Cullen Boulevard, Houston 77051. Bins will be located inside the main entry.
