Fair Housing Graphic

In April 2016 the Housing and Community Development Department kicked off National Fair Housing Month with the launch of a new media campaign that helps the public envision what communities with shared opportunity for all might look like. The new campaign is designed to further educate Houstonians about their housing rights and responsibilities. The 2016 campaign theme is: FAIR HOUSING + Opportunity = a Balance Between People.

Look for 2016 Fair Housing campaign materials:

  • In City buildings, Parks and Recreation Community Centers, Multiservice Centers and Houston Public Libraries
  • On 750 METRO Buses
  • At agencies serving low- and moderate-income persons
  • In your City of Houston water bill
  • In lenders and realtors offices
  • At Super Neighborhood meetings
