"Get Alarmed Houston!"

The Houston Fire Department Will Be In Your Area

Members of the Houston Fire Department (HFD) and volunteers from the

office of District H Houston City Council Member, Ed Gonzalez, will be in your area:

Saturday, July 9, 2011

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

to install FREE smoke detectors as part of the HFD "Get Alarmed Houston!" program.

The area to be covered will be:

Schneider to Jensen and Berry to McDaniel

It is a fact that working smoke detectors save lives. Test your smoke detector once a month. If your smoke detector is over 10 years old, please replace it. If you do not receive a free smoke detector on Saturday, you can pick one up at any HFD Fire Station or call the HFD Public Affairs office at 832.394.6633 to schedule an installation appointment.
