NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 2010 CONSOLIDATED PLAN AND ACTION PLAN
The City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD) has initiated work on the 2010 Consolidated Plan and Action Plan. The Consolidated Plan is an application for funding and a comprehensive assessment of community development needs of low to moderate income Houstonians completed every five years. The Action Plan outlines strategies for addressing the identified needs of low to moderate income Houstonians on an annual basis. Projects funded include neighborhood facilities, housing programs, and social services.
HCDD has scheduled the second of two public hearings to receive public input for inclusion in the draft of the Plan. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the former City Council Chambers, City Hall Annex, 900 Bagby, Houston, Texas 77002.
Present your input during the March 24 hearing. If you are unable to attend the hearing, submit written comments by email to: email@example.com or mail to the Housing and Community Development Department, Attention: Andrea Roberts, 601 Sawyer, Suite 400, Houston, Texas 77007. Input will be accepted through Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
