Houston Fire Department Open House at Station 2

Please join the Houston Fire Department as we host an Open House, this Saturday, April 4, 2009, at HFD Fire Station 2, 5880 Woodway at Chimney Rock.

Come by and meet your local firefighters, tour the station, check out the trucks and meet Captain Elmo: The Fire Safety Robot.

The Open House will be from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

It's fun and informative for the whole family.

Working Smoke Detectors Save Lives!

Have you tested yours lately? If you are a homeowner and need a smoke detector you can pick one up at any HFD Fire Station or call the HFD Public Affairs Office at 713-495-7900. If you rent, your landlord is required by law to supply you with a working smoke detector.
