THE HOUSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT IS OFFERING FREE CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATIONS IN YOUR AREA THURSDAY, MAY 21, 2009!

The Houston Fire Department and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Care Van have teamed up again in 2009 to offer free childhood immunizations at your neighborhood fire stations. This is the perfect time to get your children up to date on their immunizations for school and avoid the rush before resumes after the summer. The immunizations are FREE. All you need to bring is your children, your identification and your children's immunization records.

Although this is no swine flu vaccine, regular flu shots will also be available for FREE for everyone 4 years through adulthood.

Location: HFD Fire Station 31, 222 West Crosstimbers at Old Yale

Immunization times are 4 p.m. -7 p.m.

Visit the Houston Fire Department website at www.houstonfire.org for more information. Any questions? Contact the HFD Public Affairs office at 713-495-7900 or e-mail paul.box@cityofhouston.net.
