Stocking Stuffer 2012

The Houston Fire Department Invites You To Help
Kickoff The 2012 Operation Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive

The holidays are almost here and that means it's time for the Houston Fire Department's (HFD) "Operation: Stocking Stuffer" Toy Drive.

Last year, HFD and KPRC Local 2, with the support of our great citizens, collected more than 250,000 toys for Houston families in need.

With your help, it will be even bigger this year!

You are invited to join us as we kick off the 2012 toy drive at

HFD Fire Station 37
7026 Stella Link
just south of Bellaire Boulevard
November 27, 2012
Kickoff 6:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

for more information

We will have KPRC Local 2 broadcasting live from the station
along with the kids from Pershing Middle School providing entertainment.

Los Cucos Mexican Cafes, The Kolache Factory and Blue Bell Ice Cream will be
providing goodies to all those dropping off toys while the supplies last.

If you can't make it for the kickoff, you can drop a new, unwrapped toy
off at any HFD Fire Station from November 27-December 18.

Please visit www.houstonfire.org or www.click2houston.com for more information
including a list of all toy collection locations.

Due to the tremendous need for toys, we will not be accepting clothing donations.

For more information on "Operation: Stocking Stuffer" and how you,
your business, place of worship or neighborhood can help,
email Paul Box HFD Public Affairs Office at paul.box@houstontx.gov,
or call him at 832.394.6636.

If you know someone who needs toys,
please call toy drive hotline at 832-394-6632 for a recorded message
concerning the "Great Toy Giveaway".

Please help the Houston Fire Department and KPRC Local 2 bring some
holiday joy into the hearts of our underprivileged children.
