HPD Heights Storefront Closed, Relocation Efforts Underway

Police Chief Art Acevedo is reminding residents in the Heights area that due to the lease not being renewed by the building owner, the Heights Storefront located at 1127 North Shepherd Drive closed Friday, March 31.

HPD is working with community members in the Heights area with hopes of reopening at a new location.

Please be advised that until there is a new location, officers will be operating out of the Central Patrol Station at 61 Riesner Street. Community members may call the Central Patrol front desk at 713-247-4400 or visit the Neartown HPD Storefront at 802 Westheimer Road for police services.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and for your continued partnership and support.
