Help A Houston Park Win A $20,000 Grant! Vote Every Day In April!

The National Recreation and Park Association, Disney | ABC Television Group and ESPN are collaborating to revitalize parks across the U.S., including a Houston Parks and Recreation Department (H.P.A.R.D.) park! Through the Meet Me at the Park campaign, one of three H.P.A.R.D. parks will receive a $20,000 grant and Houstonians get to choose which one! From April 1 to April 30, park supporters can vote daily for their favorite park project by visiting and by text message. At the end of April, the park project with the most votes will receive the grant funding. And, everyone who votes will be entered into a drawing for a tablet outfitted for the outdoors.
