VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION

Houston Shows Support with
AT&T Veterans Job & Resource Fair, US Family Health Plan Veterans Health Fair,
11th Hour Ceremony, and American Heroes Parade sponsored by H-E-B

The City of Houston invites everyone to show support for our Armed Forces at the annual "Houston Salutes American Heroes" Veterans Day Celebration, Wednesday, November 11. The festivities begin at City Hall, 901 Bagby, Houston 77002, with the AT&T Veterans Job and Resource Fair and the US Family Health Plan Veterans Health Fair, which will be open from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on the steps of City Hall in recognition of our local heroes and in memory of the signing of the WWI Armistice. The ceremony will end at the 11th hour with a moment of silence.

The American Heroes Parade, sponsored by H-E-B, begins at 11:30 a.m. at Dallas and Bagby, proceeding east on Dallas, north on Louisiana, west on Walker, south on Smith and ending at Bagby.

Free parking is available from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Theater District Parking, Tranquillity Garage, entrances 2 and 5 only. For more information about the celebration, visit www.houstontx.gov/nov11.
