HPD: GRAB A SNACK, PUT ON A SMILE AND MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS!
IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT!
Tuesday, October 6, 2015
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Get your lawn chairs, coolers and food ready! Come join the Houston Police Department, meet your neighbors and participate in the 32nd Annual National Night Out.
This is an opportunity to get out and speak with your neighbors, as well as discuss crime concerns with HPD officers.
Take advantage of this opportunity to meet the officers who patrol your neighborhoods and help strengthen police and community relations. Thousands of citizens in neighborhoods all over the city are expected to step out of their homes to meet their neighbors and renew their commitment to public safety.
Houston Mayor Annise Parker and Police Chief Charles A. McClelland, Jr. will visit several communities in the Houston area to interact with citizens and address their concerns. Chief McClelland will also be live-tweeting during his stops. Follow him on Twitter at @houstonpolice.
Civic leaders and citizens interested in scheduling an event, finding their area coordinator or seeking more information on National Night Out should visit https://www.houstontx.gov/police/chief/nno15/NNO15.pdf or contact Officer J. L. Martinez of the Public Affairs Office at 713-308-3200. Our National Night Out 2015 video is available for viewing on the HPD YouTube Channel at https://youtu.be/z4gv5UeGWKM.
