The Jane Cizik Garden Place is a gated, affordable housing complex featuring 87 one-bedroom units built around a large courtyard garden.  Amenities include a computer lab, exercise room, community center and a meditation room.  A full time case manager will be on-site and other services and enrichment programming will be available.  The Jane Cizik Garden Place is a LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) complex, one of only a handful of complexes statewide.

The Jane Cizik Garden Place is owned and operated by The Women's Home, a local non-profit United Way Agency.  The City of Houston provided 2.5 million dollars in financing, along with capital by various other public and private partners.
