Mayor Bill White is "Raising the Roof" in Trinity Gardens
This Saturday, March 28th Mayor Bill White and community leaders will be in Trinity Gardens to "Raise the Roof" on the first Houston HOPE home in this neighborhood. The dedication of the first home begins at 9:00 a.m. at 8710 Peachtree Street, Houston, Texas 77016.
Greater Houston Development Corporation (GHDC), the developer and builder has been working to provide affordable homes to the residents of northeast Houston for over 15 years. GHDC has been a partner with the City of Houston in the Houston HOPE program, which is an initiative to reinvest in some of Houston's historic neighborhoods with new housing development and infrastructure improvements.
The base price of the home is $98,750, and a potential buyer may be eligible for up to $37,500 in down payment assistance. The home is being built on 1/4 acre lot, which allows for spacious front and back yards for a growing family. The square footage is 1132 with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and 2-car garage. This is a great opportunity for a first time homeowner. For information on the home please contact Greater Houston Development at 713-635-2300 x 13.
Please join Mayor White and the Trinity Gardens community in celebrating this momentous occasion as the City of Houston works to improve neighborhoods one block at a time.
