ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District H
Airline Drive Reconstruction Project

The Airline Drive Reconstruction Project will improve streets that have deteriorated beyond normal maintenance and repair. This $9.3M project, which runs along Airline Drive from North Main to the North Loop, began late September 2013 and is anticipated to be complete by early May 2014.

The Airline Drive Reconstruction Project strives to improve traffic circulation, mobility and drainage in the area by reconstructing 5,800 linear feet of two-lane roadway. Additional project highlights include curbs, sidewalks, street lighting, improved storm sewer system, inlets and necessary underground utilities.

The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Airline Drive Reconstruction Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
