ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District A
The Brittmoore Reconstruction Project will improve streets that have deteriorated beyond normal maintenance and repair. This $10.4M project, which runs along Brittmoore from Hammerly to Clay, 77041, began in late October 2013 and is anticipated to be complete by late June 2015.
The Brittmoore Reconstruction Project strives to improve traffic circulation, mobility and drainage in the area by constructing 6,700 linear feet of two 24-foot roadways in each direction with a continuous left-turn lane. Additional project highlights include curbs, sidewalks, street lighting, improved storm sewer system, inlets and necessary underground utilities.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Brittmoore Reconstruction Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
