ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District K
Local Drainage Project at the 7600 Block of Chasecreek

The Local Drainage Project at the 7600 block of Chasecreek will provide improvements to address localized storm water drainage issues in the area. This approximately $29,000 project, which runs along Chasecreek at Griffin Willow Road, 77489, began in March 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in July 2014.

A Local Drainage Project is a small scale project that strives to optimize the existing drainage system with repairs and enhancements. This may include the repair, removal and/or replacement of storm sewers, manholes, and inlets; as well as roadway pavement, curbs, sidewalks and access ramps.

The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Local Drainage Project at the 7600 block of Chasecreek is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
