ReBuild Houston Project Completed in District C
The Colquitt Asphalt Overlay Project improved road surface drivability and accessibility while prolonging the life of the roadway. This approximately $236,000 project, which runs along Colquitt from Yupon to Montrose, 77006, began in June 2014 and was completed August 2014.
The Colquitt Asphalt Overlay Project included resurfacing the road with new asphalt, improvements to curbs and accessibility ramps. Additional project highlights included concrete base repair and pavement markings as needed.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Colquitt Street Overlay Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
