ReBuild Houston Project Under Way in Your Neighborhood
The Huntington Place Street Overlay Project encompasses 24 streets or 13.33 miles within the community. The boundaries are Gold Street (west), Creston Street (north), Union Pacific Railroad (east), North Loop East 610 (south). The projected completion for this project is May 31, 2013 and is expected to improve the driving surface in the area.
ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Huntington Place Street Overlay Project, which began in April 2013, is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
