The West Little York Paving Project will improve streets that have deteriorated beyond normal maintenance and repair. This $12.75M improvement project, which runs along West Little York between Wheatley and T.C. Jester, 77091, is anticipated to be complete by November 2015.
The West Little York Paving Project strives to improve road surface conditions and accessibility. Project highlights include 49,004 square yards of 10-inch reinforced concrete pavement with curbs and gutters; 66,865 square feet of 5-foot sidewalks; as well as 12,758 linear feet of storm drainage system.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements.
