ReBuild Houston Project Underway in Your Area
The North Main Paving and Drainage Project will replace a roadway that has deteriorated beyond normal repair and maintenance. This project will improve traffic circulation, mobility and drainage within the area. The $6.43M improvement project, which runs along North Main from 20th/Cavalcade to IH 610, is projected for completion in late July 2014.
The North Main Paving and Drainage Project consists of the construction of 3,700 linear feet of concrete roadway, as well as curbs, sidewalks, driveways, street lighting and improved storm sewer system reinforced concrete pipe to mitigate street flooding.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter-initiated plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. ReBuild Houston will help improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. This North Main Paving and Drainage Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
