ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District C and J
The Rampart Drainage and Paving Project will improve streets in the area by enhancing road safety and accessibility. The project is expected to begin in September 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in October 2015. This approximately $7.7 million project, located in the 77081 area, runs along Rampart from Bissonnet to Holly; Pine from Hillcroft to Renwick; Valerie from Hillcroft to Rampart; and Flack from Rampart to Valerie.
The Rampart Drainage and Paving Project consists of storm drainage improvements; water and sanitary sewer lines; and full width pavement including curbs, sidewalk replacement and driveways.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Rampart Drainage and Paving Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
