ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District D
The Southpark and Southcrest Area Drainage and Paving Project will improve drainage and traffic mobility issues in the area. This $4.91M project, which runs along Crest Court, Crestridge, Crestville, Southcrest, Southlea and Southridge, is scheduled to begin in mid-September 2013 and anticipated to be complete by mid-September 2014.
The Southpark and Southcrest Area Drainage and Paving Project involves the construction of 6,000 feet of storm sewer line, 7,000 feet of water lines and approximately 9,000 feet of sanitary sewer, as well as new manholes, inlets and concrete curbs.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter-initiated "pay-as-you-go" plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. ReBuild Houston will help improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Southpark and Southcrest Area Drainage and Paving Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
