ReBuild Houston Project Underway in the Westchester Community
The Bramblewood Concrete Street Repair Project, located between Pinesap and Dairy Ashford, will improve streets in the area by repairing the existing deteriorating roadway, thereby improving the driving surface. The project is scheduled to begin by mid-June 2013 and anticipated to be complete by late June 2013.
A concrete street repair involves removing old concrete and replacing it with new concrete. During this process, motorist will notice lane closures and slowed traffic around the repair areas. Driving cautiously is require in these active work zones.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Bramblewood Concrete Street Repair Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
