ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District G
The Local Drainage Project at the 3600 block of Willowick will provide improvements to address localized storm water drainage issues in the area. This approximately $200,000 project, which runs along Willowick from Knollwood to Inverness, 77019, began in April 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in August 2014.
The project consists of the construction, repair, removal, and/or replacement of storm sewers, storm sewer leads, manholes, inlets and trench grates, as well as drainage improvements. Additional project highlights include roadway pavement, curbs, sidewalks, access ramps, water line and sanitary sewer.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Local Drainage Project at the 3600 Block of Willowick is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
