ReBuild Houston Project Complete in District C
The Yale Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project, which included the rehabilitation of structural concrete beams by repairing and reinforcing the beams with concrete epoxy, enhanced roadway travel capacity along the bridge. The approximately $230,000 project, which runs over White Oak Bayou, began in April 2013 and was completed in June 2013.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Yale Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
