ReBuild Houston Project Completed in Districts H & I
The York Street Concrete Panel Replacement Project improved streets in the area by repairing the existing deteriorating roadway. This approximately $440,000 improvement project, which runs along York Street from Dallas to Navigation, 77003, was completed in early February 2014.
Concrete panel replacement is used to repair severely cracked and broken sections of concrete streets. Additional features of the York Street Concrete Panel Replacement Project include the repair and improvement of curbs and accessible ramps.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The York Street Concrete Panel Replacement Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
