ReBuild Houston Project Underway in Districts B and H
Clinton Drive Reconstruction Project
The Clinton Drive Reconstruction Project will improve streets that have deteriorated beyond normal maintenance and repair. This $8.34 million improvement project, which runs along Clinton Drive near Japhet and Lathrop, 77011, began in December 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in February 2016.
The Clinton Drive Reconstruction Project strives to improve traffic circulation, mobility and drainage in the area by constructing a 48-foot undivided roadway that will have two lanes running in each direction. Additional enhancements include removing and repaving the existing roadway with 11-inch concrete pavement; as well as 6-inch curbs.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Clinton Drive Reconstruction Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
