ReBuild Houston Project Underway in District B
The Pleasantville Drainage and Paving Project will improve streets in the area by enhancing road safety and accessibility. This approximately $11.3 million project, which began in November 2014 and is anticipated to be complete in December 2015, runs along Pleasantville Drive and is bounded by Demaree Lane to the west, IH-610 to the east, Munn Street to the north and Industrial Drive to the south.
The Pleasantville Drainage and Paving Project includes storm drainage improvements, new storm sewers with junction boxes, necessary concrete paving, curbs sidewalks and underground utilities.
The ReBuild Houston Initiative is the City of Houston's voter approved pay-as-you-go plan to rebuild drainage and street infrastructure. Its goal is to improve quality of life and mobility for residents through the reconstruction and proper maintenance of drainage and street improvements. The Pleasantville Drainage and Paving Project is an active example of ReBuild Houston at work to better serve you.
