Make the Disability Vote Count
Register! Educate! Vote! Use Your Power!

July 11-15 is National Disability Voter Registration Week! In its observance, REV UP America is conducting a national campaign to encourage the disability community to register to vote in the November 8, 2016 General Election.

Register to vote and let your voice be heard!

When:  Thursday, July 14, 2016 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Where:  Metropolitan Multi-Service Center, 1475 W. Gray, Houston, TX 77019

Voter Eligibility
U.S. citizenship
Resident of the county in which you are registered to vote
Minimum of 18 years of age on Election Day
Have no felony convictions (Convicted felons may be eligible to vote if they have completed their sentence, probation or parole.)
Have not been declared by a court to be mentally incapacitated without the right to vote

Bring Identification
Bring identification to register to vote. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver's license, personal identification card, U.S. Passport, U.S. Citizenship certificate, military I.D. with photo or concealed handgun license.

The REV UP America local campaign is sponsored by the Department of Neighborhoods Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities in partnership with the Houston Center for Independent Living.
