The SWMD's Southwest Neighborhood Depository/Recycling Center is a facility where residents may bring junk waste items to be discarded and other materials to be recycled. There are now six convenient Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Center locations where residents of the City of Houston can take their recyclable materials and junk waste for proper handling. Remarks from Mayor Parker, Council Member Al Hoang, SWMD Director Harry J. Hayes and ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by refreshments. Casual dress is appropriate. This is an outdoor event.
