BARC Hosting 2nd Annual Bow Wow Meow Luau
Mega Pet Adoption Event
Saturday, June 29 at CITYCENTRE

BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions is hosting its 2nd Annual Bow Wow Meow Luau mega pet adoption event Saturday, June 29, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Houston's CITYCENTRE, 822 Town and Country Boulevard, Houston 77024 directly under Studio Movie Grill. More than 80 puppies, dogs, cats and kittens in all shapes and sizes will be available for adoption.
BARC adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, a one-year City license, a pre-registered microchip with lifetime registration and age-appropriate vaccinations. Plus, every pet adopted at the event will receive a gift.

Visit www.HoustonBARC.com to get more information about BARC's adoption fees and requirements. Adoption fees are also listed below.

BARC owes a huge thank you to Proler Southwest/Sims Metal Management for sponsoring this event.

Plus, for every adoption, Proler Southwest/ Sims Metal Management will match the adoption fee and donate it to a brand new spay and neuter initiative led by BARC and some of Houston's top pet advocates who are partnering to reduce pet overpopulation in targeted areas of Houston, one neighborhood at a time. The initiative offers free spay/neuter and wellness services to pet owners in neighborhoods with the greatest number of stray animals and dog bite complaints in the City. This kind of effort has never been done before in Houston and their donation is going to help make it even better. More information about the initiative coming soon.

Also a big thanks to Sergeant's Pet Care for donating pet health kits as a part of their emBARK on Pet Health campaign. A free kit will be sent home with each new dog adoption, while supplies last.

If you are unable to permanently adopt a pet but would like to help animals in need, BARC encourages you to consider becoming a volunteer or foster pet parent.
