September 23, 2009 Small Business Workshops: Starting/Planning/Financing The City of Houston's One Stop Business Center and the Houston chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), in collaboration with Houston Public Library's CORE (Careers, Opportunities, Resources, and Education) Center, present a series of FREE workshops. The first series of workshops is for persons interested in starting their own business and for new small business owners to learn the rules and regulations that govern the operation of small businesses in Houston. Attend one of these FREE "Starting a Business in Houston" workshops. There is no need to pre-register.
