Solid Waste Management – Long Range Plan Virtual Public Meetings
The City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) is holding another virtual public information session on our updated proposed Long-Range Solid Waste Management Plan covering waste and recycling programs for Houston until 2040. The meeting is Thursday October 22, 2020 from 2pm – 4pm and will be held via Microsoft Teams. We look forward to you joining us!
The draft Plan covers recommendations on how to plan for adequate infrastructure, increase waste reduction, reuse and recycling, and improve the level of service provided to residents for the next 20 years. We are holding a final public information sessions to provide an overview, answer questions and receive feedback. Share your thoughts at our next meeting or by emailing us at longrange@houstontx.gov.
